AR-2 service info. thanks to Bud R. FILE BAR go blank??

On the website for the AR-2 HEATHKIT was a perfect schematic. I got this receiver last summer & left it in the shed because I had no schematic for it. The chassis was all FILTHY DIRTY. Here is the QUESTION? In the type in address there was a note at the end about a PDF. I know what that is but why does the bar at the top for file go blank when I click on the schematic? I've used this bar before for other schematics & has worked out GREAT. Was looking back for older interesting things & ran across this. Would like to download for use at home.

Without more specifics, and not knowing the PRECISE and EXACT site you were working with on your PDF problem.

I might HEAVILY surmise that they were bouncing you around to pass thru a third site before eventually getting your desired PDF.

The reason being to get into your computer info to harvest habits and likes and dislikes and frequented E- mail addees.

With the host and the provider accumulating small " info reference" fees.

To wit . . . . some of the You Tube and MUSIC sites that have enough traffic . . . up in the millions . . . .to generate some decent money.

Otherwise, if you encounter a "click on" that is having a (dot) PDF as its URL addees ENDING . . . it is zipping you straight to direct access of your info.

However if you encounter a site referfence URL that is ending in (dot) exe, they are imbedding into your computer.

This URL supplied just below might happen to be the same site on the AR2 Schematic . . . . as I believe that supplied PDF would even satisfy a person with 20/200 ocuity's shortcomings.:

You mention your having an 'ole Coronado Radiator. . .possiblly cased in yellow plastic IIR . .the same-same -as . . . (If I Recall).

Now . . . what are the chances being that you have changed your "nom du plume" to AUSTIN from a prior RAYMOND ?

Or that you are AUSTIN RAYMOND or RAYMOND AUSTIN, as they would both sound equally logical when interchanged,

whereas edd whatley or whatley edd certainly doesnt !

RAYMOND had asked about that same radio in the past and then just seemed to have totally dropped off the Nostalgia radar.

Then you enter onto the scene and are using like semantics - the bolding of words- and the verbiage such as "RAYMOND" did.

If you are one and the same, and just name swapped, let me know, as I have scads of Coronado info , that I had accumulated for "RAYMOND".
