Hi, is anyone reproducing the grille cloth for this radio? Also, does anyone reproduce the back cover?
Thanks,
Jim

If that is a console radio, which it is by the model #,...I doubt if any back was ever on that radio.
AFA grille cloth, there is a lot of choices on eBay...http://www.ebay.com/bhp/antique-radio-grill-cloth

Grille cloth- assuming your set has the original cloth, can you post a closeup photo of it showing the pattern?

Back- looks like several people have made reproductions, possibly for their own use. Google "Philco 38-690 back panel" to see some YouTube videos on the subject. At least one shows a man using what appears to be a Dremel router to cut out the slots in Masonite or cardboard using a master template as a cutting guide.

No photo, unfortunately. It is plain gold with corduroy like ridges all through it. I will google the back, thanks for your advice!
