I have a 1501 chassis that I am studying for a rebuild. On the Rider schematic is shown a motor and switch (#14 and #13). What does this assembly do? I've not got a lot of experience with rebuilding, but I am learning, and I know you guys like to have your brains picked. THANKS !!

The schematic does not indicate that a motorized tuning attachment was used, but would be the only other option.
