I was just given a Lafayette Explor-Air regen shortwave receiver. Any idea what model this is so I can look up the schematic? It uses 3 tubes: 12AT7(Osc, Regen); 50C5(Audio);35W4(Rectifier)

Not sure if anyone replied...but it's model st-135...and I found schematics tiday on web. I'm on my phone now as power is down because a power pole is being replaced. If you wish, e-mail me and I will forward you the link. I'm actually looking for one of these to buy. I built one when I was about 12 in 1970 or so. Got tossed after I moved out of my parent's house (though they did ask!). Bob

Bob, Richard did reply and gave me a website to get the schematic. It is a lot of fun to play with. I modified this one, replacing the Ant Trimmer cap with a small air cap. Much easier to tune.
