I recently restored an rca t4 and t6-1. I found that if you don't shield the new electrolytic caps they will block ref reception. I enclosed them in the old cans and they both work perfectly. I scratched my head a lot on this one but I'm new to old radios. All I know is it works and might save someone a lot of frustration.
