Capacitance values?
12/2/2013 10:44:19 PMMitch
Hello everyone,

I need to know if a 3.3pF capacitor is the same value of 0.0033uF?

If anyone has a chart for these conversions it would be helpful to many of us.

Thank you,

Mitch

3.3pf = .0000033uf

Short answer: no. 0.0033 uF is 3300 pF, or 3.3 nF.

1 farad = 1 million microfarads

1 microfarad (uF) = 1 million picofarads (pF)

1 nanofarad (nF) = 1 thousand picofarads.

Nanofarad units are seldom used in USA-made electronic gear. They are very common in European-made items.

Thank you,

I need 0.0033uF, I do have 3.5nF caps in the bin.
