Hi all, I found a web site and went ahead and ordered one to fit a model 89 chassis, The guys name is Steve Davis, I prepaid with paypal and the wait time I was given was a year, just wondering if anyone out there can confirm this is legit or if I got rolled over,I will paste the web site.http://www.philcoradio.com/davis.htm

I personally have no knowledge of the company. However having said that, Ron Ramirez is hosting the information on his PhilcoRadio.com site. I personally would feel comfortable with them as I cannot imagine Ron providing the information unless he was confident in their work; and I trust Ron.

:Hi Dale, I do the radios for Rick's Restorations out here in Las Vegas. Rick generally goes a year or more out on restorations. I know for me just to do a complete restoration on a floor model takes anywhere from 3 to 4 months with luck. If he has several projects in the works a year would be about right.
