pins on 33 tube

Which pin would be the #1 pin on a 33. Know that some tubes have larger pins. It's very common for there to be a gap. But, the 33 has 2 gaps that are the same distance between the two pins. making a 1 tube project and I don't want to wire it wrong.

Looking at the bottom of the tube, it's pin 1 the fat pin on the left. Count clockwise to pin number 5, that's the other fat pin for the filament.

My schematic has pins 3 and 4 for the filament . while the one that is separated from the other 4 is pin 1 and it is for the plate.

Thanks! For those who want to look at the book I am using. It's the No.2 book of those little yellow "Gernsback's Educational Library. How to Make The Most Popular All wave 1 and 2 Tube receivers. The radio is on the last page. Could the book be wrong, or did they number the pins differently then?
