If it's a 78 player, and still has the original cartridge in it, you can get it rebuilt with new needle at West Tech for about $55. If there isn't any cartridge on it, talk to Gib at West Tech, and maybe you can get one from him (they don't usually sell them though)..or, he may tell you what one to look for.

I bought 4 NOS cartridges from classified ADS and Ebay.
Be carefull, none of them are good.
Ask the seller to test them before you buy.

NOS cartridges are samething as NOS capacitors.
Crap !

Buy from a company just to be sure you don't lost your money or time and you get warranty.
