symphonic hifidelity stereo console

I have a '59 - 60 symphonic stereo that worked up till recently. I have no radio sound, and the stereo only produces sound at the needle. There is a schematic inside showing radio & AMP, but there is a narrow secondary chassis without schematic (has a 12AT7 & 8EA8.) My guess is the AMP went out. Tubes in amp glow, but two transformers are cold. Sorry but no electrical experience.

That smaller secondary chassis is probably the radio stereo multiplexer amp. Do your records play OK (not sure what you mean by 'sound at needle')? If so, your problem could just be in the main radio chassis or multiplexer. Since you have no electrical experience, you should advertise in your local Craigslist for someone who can repair the vintage stuff. Too many things can go wrong, along with dangers of shock if you haven't a clue electrically. You could change the tubes, but that would be costly without a home supply of spares.
