I am working on a zenith 8s443 and I have the schematic but I am not sure on cap 22 23 and 24 which way positive and negative is suppose to run as of now I have c22 and23 negative tied together run to the center tap of the transformer and I get the motorboat sound through the speaker

Caps C22 and 23 need to be wired as you described- both negatives tied together and to the B+ winding center tap. Cap C24 needs to have its positive side toward the speaker field.

Are all the tube shields in place? If they are missing, motorboating can result.
