Need Crosley 534 schematic
2/5/2002 9:46:52 PMWilliam Kerr
Hi all who read this request.

I looking for schematics for a Crosley 534 radio. The radio has one shortwave band along with the standard broadcast band.
I re-finished the wood cabinet and cleaned the chassis but the radio plays very poorly. If someone has a set of schematics or can point me to where I can get a set of schematics I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.
Bill

Hi Norm

You know I been looking for a schamatic for this radio for several months. I post on this forum for the first time and within 30 seconds I'm directed to the schematic I'm look for. Thank you Norm. I guess I have a lot of reading of old posts to do.

That Norm's a machine ain't he?

Have you replaced any of the capacitors yet?
The electrolytics in the power supply will probably need
replacing to prevent hum (and worse). You might know all
this already but I thought it was worth mentioning in case
you didn't.

Hi Chris

Thank you for your suggestion. I was planning to re-cap the radio and probable replace all resistors as well. One power resistor was open when I got it. I will align the radio as well. The wood was refinished, and the chassis cleaned up with fine steel wool. The radio now looks brand new inside and out.
