Hey Guys, I need a little help on restringing the dial cord on a Zenith 10 S 669. You would think it would be straight forward, since there are only two points of contact, the variable cap and the tuning shaft; but when I string it up, the dial cord wants to ride up over itself and bind. Can anyone put me on the right road and tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Either you are letting the cord overlap itself when you installed it or you don't have enough tension in the cord.
