When turning the dial to the left it works fine but returning to the right the cable starts to unwind from the pulley on the left. What could be wrong and how can I fix it?

Take a look at the tuning indicator stringing info for this set (under Resources) and verify that the set is correctly strung. It's easy to get the string misplaced so it "wraps over" on itself and binds up when turned in one direction or the other. This isn't rocket surgery to fix but requires a fair amount of patience to get perfect the first time you have to do it for a given set type. Just follow the instructions and you'll be OK.

I don't see much info on the brass dial cable. I have it in the correct path. Should this cable be greased a little? Seems like the spring doesn't keep it tight enough.

Very light lubrication would help on the dial pointer slider track and the idler pulley axles. Too much lube will just trap dust and cause problems later. Make sure that the idler pulleys aren't seized to their axles.
