Using 6SA7 in place of 6BE6 in a tank circuit

I'm attempting to build an octal tube theremin, and would like to use the 6SA7 in place of the 6BE6 for the tank circuits. The tube manuals indicate that the 6SA7 has similar performance to the 6BE6, but the diagrams show that the cathode is internally connected to the 5th grid in the 6BE6 (not so in the 6SA7). Do I just externally connect these two pins on the 6SA7 to use it in a circuit designed for the 6BE6, or is there more to it than that? thanks much, John

Nothing more to it than that.
Have fun! There are plenty of 6SA7 around. Burn up as many as you want.

All the Best,

Bill
