Hello, I want to replace the 2 .15A selenium rectifiers in my 1957 portable tv set. I understand there are Diodes that are good replacements, does anyone have an idea on the correct replacement for these 2 rectifiers?

Google "1N4001" to get a datasheet for the 1N400x family (1N4001-1N4007). Then, just pick the diode in that family that can handle the max voltage that your circuit will see.
A pair of 1N4005 silicon diodes should do the job.

Thank you. Do these need to have any resistor or capacitors attached or are they an exact replacement, there are 2 on my chassis.

The selenium rectifiers have a higher forward-voltage drop than do the silicon diodes, but this isn't likely to be problematic. Your rectified voltage with the new diodes installed may be slightly higher than the selenium units could have provided. The components (capacitors) fed by the diodes should already have enough voltage margin to accommodate the higher voltage. BTW, if you haven't replaced the electrolytic caps in this set, you should do so- if your selenium rectifiers are fried, that may be the reason it happened.
