i have a model rca 13k radioit has can filter caps.
i would like to change them out and use axil lead electrolytis . some of the can caps. have fiber washers under them what would i ground them to not the chassis.now can i ground them that dont havewashers to chassis. also it has 5y3gt tubesand should be 5z4 is 5y3 allright to use .

No. The fiber washer under the can would indicate the radio has a floating B- supply. The negative ends of the new capacitors should all go to this B- connection and Not to chassis ground.
