Methinks that units twin brother certainly was an EICO . . . . All I see on the unit for freeee-bies is the schematic for the 802 which I think Reference sites of info: http://bama.edebris.com/download/emc/emc802/emc802.pdf

Check the EICO 950. I have one of those & I could NEVER get the comparator part to work. Was a kit. I have gone over & over the set again & see nothing wrong with the assembly manual. I take that back---- I got it to work ONCE by jiggling the function switch. Tried it again. Did not work the second time!!!!!!!! Any help from someone????????. The 950 is on the internet if you need a schmetic.The 801 looks like an older model by the red terminals,or MAYBE ---- MAYBE?? newer??. Check out the list on the internet & compare schmetics & parts list.
