The transoceanics have stood the test of time. When all the other sets have "gone down the tube" the old ZENITH's are still as good today as they were yesterday. Here's a joke --will they EVER, EVER quit preforming? The old sets & even some of the new one's were built like "brick-shithouses to stand up to THREE wars by being carried all over the world in every clime & place--like the MARINES. I had one overseas (carried half way round the world. True I've touched it up a tiny bit once in a while on the trimmers. I don't use like I used to----1L6----. It's the one with the slide rule dial 600 series. Got it in ---- for graduation. I was envyed everywhere I went with it, then I bought the 3000-1 after I got out. Now I have TWO to bring home from California.
