Don't have a picture, but I have seen on you tube a video of a 1948 Admiral being restored. It reportedly had the biggest bakelite case ever made.
The Sylvania is a rarer set. Perhaps its case is even bigger.

I just have a high suspicion, after you incorporated the key word " bakelite", that this might be that sets cabinetry.

Also . . . its chassis:

See if the owner can provide a photo for comparison OR if he is a computer dummy. . . . . .

:the set was a plastic set from 1954,very good set and it plays.picked it up for 10 dollars.thank all of you for the help.
