I have an old Knight RF Generator. The generator is not modulating. Good Tubes and electrolytic caps have been changed. Any Suggestions? Found one loose wire coming from a transformer.

Do you have the model number?
Have you cleaned the contacts on the range switch?

The unit does not have a part Number. I do have a schematic and can send a picture if that will help.
I just cleaned all contact on the switches with an item called DeoxIT @ Caig.com no help! Checking again for cold solder joints. Drop me an email and I can send you pictures or the schmetic.

Several possibities here, but might as well start with the simplest one first: is the Mod Source knob in the Internal or External position? (If set to External you will have no tone modulation).

If that isn't it, post the schematic and we'll all puzzle it out.

Maybe a Knight KG-650?
