I'm recapping this Coronado and I can't figgure out what a symbol means on the multi can capacitor that I am replacing with 4 individual caps. On the can it lists 40@ 350 - 40@ 350 - 20@ 350 - 20@ PLN - can negitive....What in the heck does PLN mean and how do I tell where which 20 mfd goes? On the schematic one 20mfd goes on one side of a power resistor near the rectifier tube and the other goes to pin 8 of the 6V6 output tube and is listed as 20mfd @ 25 volts. I've been waiting on parts for days and I'm anxious to get started Thanks in advance.

I don't know what "PLN" means either, but it doesn't matter. The schematic shows all four elements of the multi-section cap- three are in the B+ filter so they need to be 350v or better; the fourth one is the AC cathode bypass for the 6V6 tube- it will only "see" 10 volts or so. Just make sure that you've got your two 20 uF caps straight voltage-wise and you can't go wrong. The tubes in this set are wired to be self-biasing so all four electrolytic cap negative sides go to set ground.

(followup comment) - I am presuming that you will be recapping with "discrete" capacitors- that is, four separate caps. My response above was a little ambiguous regarding the two 20 uF caps. The 20 uF cap on the 6V6 cathode needs to be rated for at least 25 VDC and the three other caps in the filter section need to be 350 VDC or better.
