To all the guys here who know or have worked on car radios. Did any of the manfactures use a push-pull output circuit with the 12V tubes and if so could you suggest a schematic on this site.
Thanks
George F

Delco built many sets using push-pull 12V6's for a variety of GM brands covering several years in the 1950's and Motorola built some using 12AB5's in 1956 for Ford and some Chrysler products.

I believe that most if not all of them are too new to have been covered in Rider manuals.

Mopar model 911 or 911HR, for 1956 is covered in Beitman, the schematic is on TechPreservation website for download but you need to have a special reader for .djvu files to read it

The 55 to 57 chevy push button radios do have push pull outputs that use a pair of 12V6 tubes. Also has the 0Z4 and vibrator. See this link for the 55 chevy schematic.
