I was given a Westinghouse Model 450 AM Radio and have
looked high and low for schematics. It has 5 tubes 12BE6, 12BA6,
12AV6, 50C5 and 35W4. One 'odd'thing is that the dial is backwards. The 55 is on the
right and the 160 is on the left. I find it fades in and
out and appears to be sensitve to any touch around the
antenna. Does anyone know where I can get schematics
for this thing?

Hi Leon, I can't see anything for your model 450, perhaps it's too late for Riders and may be in Sams Photofact range. Try your local library to see if they have them. I'll email a typical AA5 schematic using those tubes from the RCA data book, it should be very close to your set.
