I'm hoping to relive some of my boyhood fun by bulding this with my son.

Doc:
If I can trust my sources, the radio is built on a printed wiring board, so that part should be a snap if the coils and IF cans are identified. After that, you should be able to finish it with help from this forum.

::Does anyone have a copy or scan of a Heathkit GR-64 Shortwave Assembly Manual? I bought an unbuilt kit at a hamfest, but discovered that the manual was missing. A search of the net shows only partial scans that are missing the assembly instructions (pgs 8-32).

Hello Doc,
I have emailed you a full schematic with parts placement on the board. If you send this schematic to the Paint program in Microsoft you can zoom in and out with it to read the parts and trace the wiring.
Just a little work on your part.
