I have the same model from 1966 -- I'll help you with what I can, the only schematic I have is pasted on the inside bottom of the cabinet. They have a good AM and FM section and sound quality isn't too bad. Let me know if you need part numbers or anything like that.

They did use several "nashville" electrolytics under the chassis which will be bad by now. If you're going to go to the trouble to replace xistors make sure you replace those caps. The electrolytic power supply filters are positive ground, don't let that throw you, either.

I can't help with the manuals or diagrams but would you know anything about the value of a magnavox astro sonic console model # 1P3901? I would like to have some idea if I should sell it or give it away or just trash it.
