Hi Seth

Decide what you want and check prices on the internet:

You can easily build a transmitter for CW.

What you buy and what you need to spend will depend in large part on which particular aspect of ham radio you wish to pursue. It sounds like you would be best off if you connected with the local ham club area where you passed your exam. Go back to them and ask for help. They will be more than happy to help you scare up something appropriate for your interest and class of license. The alternative is to spend more money than necessary, or on something you cannot use. It happens almost daily in the hobby. Best of luck.
