info on a Master Dyne 3 knob 5 tube radio
12/23/2012 2:34:29 PMJim Curtin
I recently purchased a 1920's Master Dyne 3 knob radio which use 5 tubes. My problem i that I can't find any info on the radio to figure out what the model number is or what tube it needs. The radio looks a lot like the Master Freshman in fact they could be twins! If anyone has any info I would be very thankful.
thanks,

Jim

Hi JIm

Many early radio schematics didn't get into Rider. The good thing being 3 dial radios are similar. Use Freshman schematic if it's close. Another schematic I suggest is Stewart Warner 300 series.

Tubes will most likely be 01A. Tubes with different prefixes are still 01A, UX201A, CX301A etc. A few radio used 99's. These have smaller bases.
