Delco car radio

I have a Delco car radio modle 61BPBT2, when I got a Sam's for it the problem was apparent. It is missing the remote circuit board that has the two output transistors, it plugs into J6 on the back of the radio. Sam's don't have a part # for this, do you think I could just put two output transistors on a heat sink and make one?

Ralph:
You might want to consider buying a 12 Volt audio amplifier chip, sold cheap by BG Micro on the net. This is a complete amplifier that only needs a few parts to complete it.

:
Certainly! That’s what Delco did. Just make sure that you isolate the two DS-501 collectors/cases if putting them on the same heat sink; “convector” in Delco speak.
