I just inherited a huge collection of radios, random equipment, books, magazines and stories from a guy who was in the signal corps in WWII and tinkered with anything he could until his recent passing.
I don't even know where to start with what I just filled my basement with! My wife is so far not killing me for junking up her house only because she sees the joy and amazement in my eyes.
It is going to take me a long time to sort thru what I have here, but I am going to need a lot of help. The following is a partial list of what I am seeing so far;
Speaker base for a 1923 Radio Magnavox
GM Pocket Portable (bought in Manila off a Sargent before transitioning back home)
Freed Eisemann model IVR60
Atwater Kent Model 44F
Motorola Model Ru11 WFN
GE FM Model 40B
Transitone Type TP-4
Howard Model 435 Communications Receiver
Linmark 6 Transistor
GE Model P-725
And that is just scratching the surface! Any thoughts on a starting point?! I mean I love them all, but I can tell you right now my wife isn't going to stand for me keeping all of this.
Help!?!!....
-Mark
I have seen her reach her level of tolerance but she is still OK with the volume.
Where are you located? If I have time I may help.

:Ok, I have always loved tinkering with electronics, and I have a soft spot in my heart for old radio as I grew up listening to my Dad tell endless stories of pre-tv days. I have even ventured into some odd ball purchases of old radios myself.
