If I have a radio with caps that are marked pos, neg and I have new caps that are non polerized Can I still use them in these old sets ? DAN

There are non polarized caps which can be used in place of older electrolytics which were polarized. Unusual to find them with high values. Be sure your replacements have the same capacity and at least as high of voltage rating.

:the old wax caps that show a negative can be replaced with new caps, the new caps are not polorized. the big electrolytics have to be replaced with new electrolytics THESE MUST BE INSTALLED WITH NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE THE SAME AS THE OLD ONES, DONT INSTALL ELECTROLYTICS BACKWARDS OR THEY COULD EXPLODE.
