Dial light

I have a Zenith radio (1949) Model G725 Ch=7G01. The socket that holds the dial light has broken wires. How can I get a new socket & schematic to rewire it? The radio works great, but no light.

Often, if you are able to carefully disassemble the socket, you can solder new wires to the existing socket. There are many different socket designs. However, I have yet to run across a socket that I could not fit with new wires.

:The wires are easy to repair.Strip, splice & solder, then use shrink tubing over the splice. Raymond.
