I just acquired the above radio which came without the back and likely the loop antennae.
What is the best way of providing
antennae for the best reception.

The Rider's schematic shows the set does not use a loop antenna. There should be a small length of wire coming out of the rear of the set that gets attached to a wire antenna. The longer the better, but twenty feet or so of any old insulated wire you have lying around, just flung out the window should get you something.

you have tuning coils inside the receiver, those on the very left side of the schematic. With those, you don't need a loop antenna. Agree with above
