Has anyone here replaced the dial lamps on this large mirror dial? I have the band switch bulb working, and the flash bulb appears good, but I cannot see how the dial itself lights up. I know that mine does not, but pictures I have seen show it suppiosedly lights up beautifully. There is a hole in the middle of the back of the dial, but that leads to the pointer, and there is not bulb or socket on my chassis that would go in there. Any help is greatly appreciated. The schematic does not help much.

Dial lamp assembly is on the rear of the dial assembly. Its a tubular assembly that pulls out. Slide it in and out for best illumination of the dial.
