About tube radios!!

Hello all, I had 2 questions about any tube radios from the 40's to the 60's. 1. How was these radios assemble, was an assembly line used? Question 2. The year in the schmatic on this web site pre 1932 for example means what. Pre ?

Larger manufacturers built radios on assembly lines. For small manufactures a person might have bent sheet metal, punched chassis and built the radio. This was done at Sargent.

Pre 1932 means just that, made before 1932. You can date radios by which volume of Riders has the schematic. Volume 1 has up to 1930. After that each Rider volume had about 1 year of schematics.
