Hello All,

I have been away from the hobby for quite a while. My interest has been re-kindled. I did fire my radios up every once in a while. Well today I worked on a Zenith H615 that powered up but got hum only (how many times have we heard that). It was a simple fix (broken wire) but awakened my interest.

Since I've been away for a while I'm wondering if anyone is manufacturing tubes for the hobby such as China? Can you still order tubes from Radio Shack?

Try a place called 'Findatube.com" - google it. All kinds of NOS tubes for sale cheap.

Also the russians and chinese do make tubes but rarely do we go there. That is only for the audiophiles with deep pockets.

I hate to say it but there are some good tube sellers on Ebay as well, have used some with no problems.
