My Zenith 5S29 gets a strong local station which is 1160kc but gets it at 1240 on the dial and another weaker station which is 1060 it doesn't get at all. Would the osc be off and cause that or would it be IF alignment? Not sure where to look for the problem. Radio has been recapped both 'lytics and papers.

Sorry about the "NO" post. The problem is not in the IF but in the LO ( Local Oscillator) The screw on the air variable capacitor of the LO needs to be adjusted.
