Hello to everyone,

Does anyone know if there are any companies that reporduce a dial cover like this one for a 1942 Philco?

This one looks ok but is warped.

I think you are looking for an escutcheon, not a dial cover. The Philco escuctheons of that era were notorious for warping. For reproductions, Google "Philco Escutcheons" or try here: http://www.alanjesperson.com/gn_repro.htm

Good luck.

Mitch:

I bought the very same one from a guy who advertises in the back of Antique Radio Classified. It looks good but as I recall it does not have the brass insert with the knob function names. If I can recall exactly who it is I will type it here. have almost the same radio.

Hi, Radio Daze carries that also but it doesn't come with the brass ID strip. Good Luck, George T
