I could use some suggestions about a Zenith 9S 54 that I’m working on. I’ve recapped it and replaced the filters. It plays really well on the low end of the dial. When I tune it to the upper ranges the volume becomes barely audible. I’ve adjusted both Ifs to see if that would help but it doesn’t. I’m not sure where else to look. The tuning capacitor looks ok but there is a section that is not visible unless I remove it from the chassis. All the coils seem to have continuity. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Al

Have you tested the tubes and/or have you tried another tube for the converter section (mixer)?
