8/13/2012 9:45:43 AMRichard
I'm looking for service information for a Sears Silvertone Chassis 132.44402 Model 5.

If anyone can send me a copy of Sams 491-14, or any other service literature on this chassis it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Richard

:Hi! Richard,

If you go to this site and look at the 1959 Sears Christmas Catalog , the ad for your radio is in it.

Wow, way cool! How ever did you find that? Took me a while just to page through to page 291 to find it knowing it was in the catalog!

: Just by accident. I was researching radios sold by Simpson-Sears and this site popped up. I had previously looked for your radio info so I knew what it looked like. As I was perusing these catalogs it just popped up. What a great site for researching what life was like back in those days.
