I need a copy of the wiring diagram or would someone tell me how this unit is listed on Nostagia Air as I can't find it listed but I believe that they have the specs on this radio. Thanks for your help as I am a newbie.

Model number should be more like 8S563 or similar.

Norm is correct.

The 8A02 chassis is used in models 8s531, 8s548 & 8s563.

Not sure what that "A835E" number represents.

The service data is in Riders Vol 12, Zenith pages 16 &
18

Sires . . . . .

That additional cryptic info might just be some non related additional side information of a second unit, written down somewhere to be found.

Typically A835 is the Zee-nuts model number of another, one, FINE sounding AM-FM unit unit.

That breaks down as the first Alpha character of . . . . A . . . . indicating the fact that the unit was a 1956 model or a later B835 version would have been offered in 1957. The C835 would have been the 1958 offering.

The end E suffix was indicative of the cabinetry treatment . . . in this case the E was indicative of this unit being in a "stimulated" blonde Limed Oak finish treatment.

Thasssitttt . . . .
