Funny I have a close cousin to this radio and I never knew it had a belt!!

I would check this vendor from the back of Antique Radio Classified (Google it!!). There is a gentlemen who deals in belts - Adams Manufacturing Co., www.adamsradio.com.

Yep.....parts list in Riders 8-18 lists a drive belt. Cost was 10 cents way back when. Adams is a good company to deal with.....have done so with no problems whatsoever.

Yes - I bought a dial cable for a Radiola 33 from them. Nice stuff, well made. It went into a Radiola 33 that I got for 20.00(!!) from a local antique dealer. I will admit the unit was a basket case, but with tender loving care, I made it into a showpiece. Even got a reproduction lamp hood for the front.

In a pinch, go to the hardware store and ask for an O gasket. They come in many sizes and will work for this purpose. mark from Kalamazoo
