Can someone email me a schematic for a GE model C417A? I think it is in Sams 412-9. The radio is intermittent and I think the problem is in an integrated circuit in the audio output circuit but I don't know what is in that circuit.

That schematic is also available on Beitmans 1960 pg 47. I've emailed a copy to you.

When you take a look at the schematic you'll see that there is no Integrated Circuit Chip per se'......but there IS a network in a single package composed of 3 resistors and 3 capacitors.

The values of those components are noted on the schematic so if need be, you could build a replacement from discrete components on, say, a terminal strip or small perfboard.

Not unusual to have to do so occasionally.
