Electrolytic 160 Volt capacitors
6/16/2012 12:43:57 PMMitch
Hello everyone,

I normally purchase the kits from Just Radios in Canada but they are adding 50 volt capacitors to the kits. I have plenty of the 50 volt capacitors and rarely need them for the old radios.

Is there another supplier out there that sells the kits without the 50 volt capacitors?

:Hi! Mitch,
I don't like the kits because after the most common ones are gone a guy has to start putting 2 or 3 together to make one. Going by what's left in your kit you can figure out which ones you use the most of.
Take a look here to see if this will work for you.

I've used them twice before with good results.

:Hi Mitch, you can order individual caps from Just Radios. You guys are right about the kits, but if you keep tabs on what you have just order replacements when you start to get low on the different values. George T
