Packard Bell 602 Tuning String Routing
6/2/2012 10:16:52 PMNeil
I have a Packard Nell radio, model 602, early version with dual speakers. The tuning string is broken. What kind of string do I use to replace it and how do I figure out the routing of the string?

Neil,

I do not have the dial cord routing in my files for this radio, but the cord i use on all of my radios is here and it works great for the price.

Thanks. I'll pick some up. Anyone know the dial cord routing for a Packard Bell 602?

This link does have a view of the dial cord. It's normally 2 and 1/2 turns around the knob shaft. One compleat turn around the tuner pulley. I am sure you can logic it out with this. The dial cord Mitch mentioned is good stuff.
