wire wound resistors

Hi all, is there any specific replacement for these or just regular resistors with correct wattage ok?

Usually it doen't make a difference. Wire-wound resistors are most frequently used for power resistors.

Grid stopper resistors are frequently wire-wound types. These are a few hundred ohms in the grid signal line to reduce the possibility of oscillation, particularly in tuned-radio-freq sets. It is thought that the inductance in the wire-wound units is helpful, but I've used regular resistors in this application without any problem.

:Yes those in particular, they look like a short lenght of wire, some are found charred and all insulation burned.
