If you look carefully at the schematic you see the primary of the audio output transformer Green wire connects to the plate of the output tube. The other side of the primary connects to the red wire ( B+ ) the secondary of the output transformer connects to the voice coil of the speaker. Now from the B+ ( Red wire ) a 9040 ohm resistor connects to the black wire. ( A voltage divider ) Now from the black wire a 3460 ohm resistor connects to the white wire. ( return to B- ) Your radio has a separate filter choke. Use two 10 MFD @ 450 volts capacitors there.

Hi

The tapped field coil is needed as a voltage divider however schematic shows resistance of each section.

Replace the field with two wire wound resistors. Use at least 10 watt and get close to schematic values as possible. 2500 for 2460 and 10K for 9040?

Use a modern Permanent magnet (PM) speaker connected to output transformer. Since you didn't have the speaker may also have to buy an output transformer?
