Hello to all this evening,

I have finally finished the vintage combination of the 1924 RCA Radiola III. New wiring, new interstage transformers, new modified WD-11 tubes and a rewired 1918 Western Electric horn speaker.

The radio plays great, tonight i listened to the Phillies ballgame on ESPN form PA, i live in NC.

Some times it is just nice to share what we all strive for on this site.

Thank you all for your posts in support of my efforts to accomplish this.

Wow - what a beautiful radio! Even the PICTURE is beautiful, suitable for framing.

A great task well done which I appreciate. I enjoy listening to my late 1920s Atwater Kent in the evenings when I am working downstairs in the "lab".
All I had to do to this one was to replace ONE power resistor and it was playing nicely.

You radio is a GEM.

Lou
