I came aross a Wilcox Gay "Recordette Sr." as well as a bunch of recorded discs and some blanks
It looks like I need a pickup cartridge. The old one says " shure crystal pickup cartridge"
Shure brothers inc. Chicago Ill. Does anyone have an idea where I could get additional info.
I have the original books that came with it but would like a source for parts if needed.

Some of the recordings are from christmas eve 1949!!

My sister has a wilcox gay radio recorder - am/fm radio and record player and record recorder. It's the size of a t.v.console. It has blank records and records recorded circu WW II. have you found anything out about this type of radio? Curious to know about the value and relative rarity. Any info would be appreciated! JJ

It is fully intact with original blank discs and recorded discs. I also found a signed contract from 1926 from New York City Vaudeville. I would like some information or a name of somebody that could help me find out more about it such as date maybe how much it would be worth. We have an Arvin record player. It is covered with what appears to be a paper-based material. How can I clean it??

Trying to reach ewmorritt. Can locate needle but do I Need a 1 0r 3 micron needle?

A friend of mine asked if i could remaster some records that
have been in her family for quit some time, I have no idea
what a Recordio Disk is, if you know of any other web sites
of information that might help please post a reply or E-mail

Ok i admit i was a bit harsh about your page, as you can see im a really honest person, and at 2:30 in the morning i become really honest, what i was meaning to say is that your page was set up nicely for promoting other peoples products, but it really didnt help in my search for meta information. After reading half way through the second page i got the feeling i was watching an info commercial alot of hype and no real content, ranked two pages below i found ABS http://www.scrubtheweb.com/abs/meta-check.html which presented more help and undestanding in the first few lines of HTML, with all do respect to the placing of your page i felt that the content was all fluff and no go, for example when you where talking about meta-tags and how great they are, you presented no examples to follow or even links to pages that might be of help in understanding what meta is or how to set it up to get the most from it, another example is on the first page with the heading of What Matters the most about keywords an example of a meta tag would have been very nice at this point. But if on the other hand if your page is designed to promote HotDog and Classify 98 by Trellian Software, then i have to say that the page has done its purpose.
