Hi Joe

AES, tubesandmore.com , sells Universal Oscillator coils, part #P-C70-OSC. Play Things of Past, oldradioparts.com , also has them but you need to look through a list.

This coil has 10 lugs and all are used. The radio has three bands am, sw and police. Do they make a universal oscillator that will work or an oscillator like this?
thanks, Joe

That is a problem with the AES Universal coil. It's only for broadcast. Check Play Things of Past, oldradioparts.com . You will have to read through a long list of coils. There were 865 listed including Miller & Meissner replacements.

Hi,
The more critical item is to look at the frequencies, and not the bands themselves when searching the used and new parts. On the surface, it sounds like your radio covers 530-1600Khz, in one band, 1600khz-3.4 Mhz (3400mhz or MC), and probably 5-18 Mhz. Since all will share a ground lead, you could resort to seperate coils if needed, and if there is space.
